Super easy

Who doesn't love popcorn? In this version we're making Potcorn by adding everyone's favotire ingredient pot. There are a few options here, you can pop your kernels in infused oil or you can add it after the kernals have been popped. Depending on the power of your oil you amy want to do both.

If using cannabutter add after popping, same if you are using distalites.

Ingredients ssss

For 2 Person(s)

1 1/2 tsp Oil
1/2 cups Unpopped Popcorn

2 servings Cannabutter
Other spices
CBD and/or THC distillates

Potcorn Directions

  1. Heat (on high) oil in a pot large enough for the quantity of popcorn being popped. You can use a little more oil if needed. We find that coconut oil is fantastic for nice big fluffy kernels and is a great medium for cannabinoids, bud butter would also work, however if you are going to season with bud butter use the smallest amount of olive or veg oil for popping (that's the 1.5 teaspoons of oil listed in the ingredients).
  2. As oil is heating add popcorn kernels and cover with lid.
  3. When the kernels start popping reduce your temp to Med-High. Shake the pot/kernels frequently to make sure the un popped are at the bottom of the pot.
  4. As the popping slows to 1 pop every 2 seconds or less remove from heat and add toppings. Pour into a large bowl and mix.
  5. Eat.

Recipe notes

Seasoning is a personal choice, here are a few suggestions.

Old Fashioned Butter

Classic butter flavored popcorn is my personal favorite, so I have to mention it! I love loading mine with freshly melted butter, and while it may turn a somewhat healthy snack into an ‘un-healthy snack’, there’s nothing better while watching a movie with friends or family!

You can even make brown butter popcorn by letting the butter brown in a pot on the stove and then tossing it with freshly popped corn! Or Pot Butter popcorn....

Cheddar Popcorn

Who would have thought mixing cheese and popcorn would be so delicious!? Well it is, and you can find a super cheesy recipe over at Peppers & Pennies! Grated cheddar is a good choice, but using Parmesan and a little truffle oil works wonders as well!

Caramel Corn

We’ve all seen caramel corn for sale at fairs, the movie theater and other events. Did you know you can easily make your own at home? Simply pop the corn as in the recipe above and then follow these instructions for making caramel sauce, and mixing the two! Caramel corn is a wonderful treat during the holidays and makes a great edible gift!

Cinnamon Popcorn

Mix 1/4 cup icing sugar and 1/2 tablespoon of cinnamon, then sprinkle the mixture over the hot freshly popped corn. Toss immediately to evenly coat the popcorn. YUM!

Garlic & Herb

While not as common, this flavor combo is awesome and a great savory twist on traditional Popcorn. Mix 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon onion powder, and 1 teaspoon of your favorite herb. Sprinkle and toss over the popped corn then toss. The smell alone will get your taste buds going!
